THE PAST IS NOT AS WE
THOUGHT IT WAS.
"Near LA" is subjective.
I don't drive, so being
close to the action is more or less mandatory.
Hollywood, Silverlake,
the Valley and the Westside,
Silverlake can be very
nice.
Each indecision brings
its own delays.
I would mention Venice
and Echo Park as other candidates for residing. These are the general areas
where you'll find the entertainment industry.
I would check the bulletin
boards
at places like Farmer's
Market on Fairfax.
And there's Mar Vista
(next to Venice and cheaper).
Also go to the Screen
Actor's Guild on Hollywood Blvd.
They list all kinds
of postings for roommates,
jobs, apartment sharing,
etc.
so -- I dunno.
In any case, I'm 3+
hours north of you
What you are about to
read is tried, true, proven and effective.
I didn't write that.
so if you're bored,
just ignore me.
How is it that you feel
entitled to criticize
God's handiwork so harshly?
I am sorry but I discarded
my name
because my ego was getting
in the way
merciless self-criticism
is, itself, a face of the ego
Be careful not to find
yourself in
the humiliating posture
of being roped and tied and
thrown out on the front
lawn
I wondered why you never
responded.
One thing's for sure
I definitely want to
be more involved
Here's some of the details:
walk the dog twice a
day,
write books and poetical
works,
take out the trash,
play in rock bands,
yet still find time
to
rhapsodize over the
event in Venezuela
and play the bagpipes
magnificently the entire
time.
You see?
Now it begins. You are
arriving.
The shear amount of
information involved
though is still mind
boggling!
It was thought to violate
the uncertainty principle
of quantum mechanics
Not gonna call you crazy.
As one who has endured
any number of sojourns into the remote
I prefer to watch from
a distance with binoculars whenever possible.
